Coach Nugent is returning on staff for his 17th year on the girls staff and 19th season overall working alongside Coach Hopkins where he served in a similar capacity with the boys program. Helps develop players for the First Team and assists with the varsity team. His teams are known for working hard, playing smart, being skilled and fit - all trademarks of high level players and teams. Has helped lead the program to 2 State Championships (2013, 2018), where he focuses on Match Analysis during Varsity games.​ Coach Nugent is an art teacher at Minnetonka High School and has earned the MYSA E License. Coach Nugent has a B.S. in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and a M.A. in Education from St. Mary's University Minnesota.  Steve is married to Christy and has a daughter Tilly ('21) who played varsity soccer, along with a son Rocky who attends Minnetonka High School.
