SCOTT STORLIE

Varsity Assistant Coach

Beginning his 12th season as a Varsity Assistant Coach after spending five seasons as an assistant coach for the boys' program at Minneapolis Southwest High School, Scott was instrumental in training both field players and goalkeepers, helping to secure two penalty kick shoot-out wins during the playoffs while winning the 2018 State Championship with a 1-0 shutout.

Storlie was named the Section 2AA Assistant Coach of the Year in 2017 and more recently in 2025 for his outstanding work helping lead in the development of players and his servant leadership towards the program. Scott is a former Gustavus Adolphus standout (2000-2004) where he garnered All-MIAC honors and helped lead the team to two NCAA National Tournament appearances. A four-year regular in the midfield for the Gusties, Scott played in 73 of 78 games during his career. He also played high school ball at St. Louis Park High School where he was a 1st Team All-Conference honoree and team captain. Scott has earned several USSF coaching licenses. In addition to coaching, Scott currently teaches Spanish Immersion and Social Studies at Minnetonka Middle School East. Scott and his wife have two daughters named Carly and Sylvie.
